Who Are We?
Bronx Hawks AAU is a youth basketball program run under the umbrella of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). The CYO is a division of Catholic Charities Community Services, a designated 501 c3 non-profit organzation. It is our mission to provide players, both male and female, regardless of religious affiliations with an affordable program in which they can develop their skills and character. We offer teams for boys and girls starting from third grade through high school.
What are the benefits of being a Bronx Hawk?
The focus of our program is to provide players with a safe environment in which to learn the fundamentals, improve their skills and become well versed in team basketball. Our players learn valuable skills that can be applied on and off the court. Our players have found success at the high school and collegiate levels.

Why are we asking for support?
Players in the Bronx Hawks AAU Program pay a fee of $450 for the season. Many of our families struggle to pay this fee and we try to provide financial assistance but our funds are limited. The fee includes 5-6 AAU tournaments, biweekly practices, workouts and clinics run by our highly qualified, ALL VOLUNTEER staff. 100% of the fees go towards tournament fees and gym rentals. Other AAU programs charge upwards of $700 or $1000 per season to offer a portion of these services.

Our Sponsor A Player Program is a great and easy way to help our young athletes play the game that they love. No donation is too small! Please see below for additional information. Checks can be made payable to CYO. Please write “Bronx Hawks Sponsor a Player” in the memo section. Sponsors will receive a Bronx Hawks AAU T-Shirt!
